You receive an installable vault with its structure, templates, configured plugins, and instructions for AI agents to work with your notes. The CLI installs the release and connects the tools you select.
An agent can consult your preferences, read a task’s history, make a plan, and save a note in the right place. You can open and edit those same files in Obsidian.

Ask your agent to plan the day. It can bring together scheduled commitments, active tasks, and routines before proposing time blocks.
Daily plans live in Journal, with links back to the relevant tasks. Completed work and unresolved items remain part of the record for your next review.

Your files stay yours.
Lifebase keeps records as local Markdown files. You can read, edit, export, and back them up with your own tools.
Your chosen AI agent controls which context reaches its model provider. Lifebase’s licensing service handles license access and delivery; it does not receive vault notes or update merge contents.
Agent instructions guide behavior; they are not a security sandbox. Review changes that matter and use independent backups for recovery.
