Use Lifebase skills

Skills are instructions that help a compatible AI agent carry out specific tasks in Lifebase. They are included in your licensed vault. You describe the result you need; the agent reads the applicable instructions and works on the relevant files.

Connecting skills does not run them in the background. A workflow runs when invoked by your agent or by a separately configured automation.

Plan tomorrow using my appointments and current tasks. Keep the edits I already made.

You can name a skill when you want a specific workflow. The way you invoke it depends on your agent; some accept a skill selector or a $skill-name mention. In other tools, ask in ordinary language for the named workflow.

Use daily planning to plan ahead, then review the day to record what happened. The daily tarot guide shows how the card and reading fit into the journal.

State the target date, note, or outcome and any boundary that matters. “Keep my diary unchanged” and “import only these five notes first” are useful constraints. Credentials belong in the provider or CLI’s sign-in flow, not in a skill prompt.

The workflow may need filesystem access, a tool, or a service connection. The agent should identify a missing capability and distinguish completed work from steps it could not verify.

Open the installed vault as the agent’s project, then check Agent setup. Run setup again for your tool if the vault moved or its managed links need repair. Avoid manually copying skill folders between tool-specific locations; setup uses the vault’s shared skill collection.
