Daily planning

A daily note brings your schedule and the day’s record together. Ask the agent to plan a specific date using fixed commitments, relevant Tasks, and preferences you have shared.

Plan tomorrow around my 10:00–11:00 meeting. Allow 20 minutes of travel before and after it, and keep the evening free. Show me any assumptions.

Check the date and timezone first, especially near midnight or while traveling. Then review fixed appointments, travel, meals, rest, and flexible work. If your vault has little history, the agent offers a starter plan for you to adjust. Approving one day’s plan does not automatically establish a permanent routine.

Schedule blocks use explicit start and end times so Day Planner can display them. A simple example is:

09:00 - 09:40 Prepare for the meeting
09:40 - 10:00 Travel
10:00 - 11:00 Meeting
11:00 - 11:20 Travel home

Tell the agent when an end time is an estimate. Keep a timed commitment in the schedule once; do not duplicate it as a separate Action simply to make it visible again.

A commitment whose time or sequence matters belongs in the schedule. A concrete action without a time belongs in Tasks. Background information belongs in the note’s memo area. Daily quests track habits you have chosen; they are distinct from Tasks-managed actions.

Your diary remains your writing. The agent may maintain the schedule and supporting records under the vault’s rules, but it should not invent a personal reflection or mark work complete without evidence.

The meeting ended at 11:30. Update today's schedule and move the remaining flexible work later. Preserve my diary and the edits I made this morning.

State what happened and what should change. The agent should re-read the current note and make a focused correction instead of replacing the whole day with a new plan.

When you plan today and no card has been drawn, the agent can follow the plan with a daily tarot reading. The card, its orientation, and a short reading stay in today’s journal alongside the schedule. Planning another date does not draw a card for it automatically.

At the end of the day, write your diary and ask the agent to review the day:

Wrap up today. I added my diary and the actual times.

The journal-wrapup skill reconciles planned and actual work, keeps unfinished Tasks open, and adds an agent summary without rewriting your diary. If your diary describes a lasting preference or change in your life, the agent can add it to the relevant Profile note and link back to the journal entry. An isolated bad day does not become a permanent preference.

Planning and wrap-up can also run through separately configured automations.
